The Analysis Of Development Strategy And Core Competence Construction Of Dushanzi Petrochemical Company Of Petrochina

Petrochemical industrial has become national one of most important industry. Comparing with abroad petrochemical enterprises, our national petrochemical industries have no international competence. From 2006, imports above 107 T/a of crude oil from Kazakhstan make Dushanzi Petrochemical Company of Petrochina have strong international competence. Under lack of international crude oil, high crude oil price, and keen competition with external and internal big petrochemical enterprises after entry of WTO, it is an important task how to take the chance to avoid risk, construct core competence, and promote Dushanzi Petrochemical Company.This thesis tries to investigate this issue by using theories of industry framework, resource supplying, studying and other related knowledge. Both of the quantitative and qualitative methods are introduced into the analyzing of Dushanzi development strategies factors such as internal environment, external environment,product market,core competence and so on, and EFE, IFE and mathematics model of evaluating core competence. This thesis makes a thorough investigation on future strategies and constructing core competence of Dushanzi Petrochemical Company by using SWOT. The main results of this thesis can be summarized as follows:By studying, some advice about choice of Dushanzi Petrochemical Company future development strategy and constructing core competence are put forward. Firstly, hold opportunity, fast enlarge enterprise size, reduce cost, and enhance its competition ability. Secondly, increase research fund, strengthen research construction, increase technology innovative, and cultivate core technology base on its feature. By cooperating with other research institute, establish research group, which has high technology level. Third, in the long run, make full advantage of an organic whole of petroleum and chemical engineering, maintain activity, and disperse risk. Forth, strengthen international competition capability, follow international development trend, and reduce risk made from oil price fluctuate. Finally, improve company structure, establish perfected modernization enterprise rule.
