The Research, Modification And Applications Of Vinyl Acetate And Acrylate Copolymer Emulsion Adhesives

Vinyl Acetate and Acrylate copolymer emulsion adhesive is one of the important applications for emulsion polymerization.and it is also one of the polymer emulsion adhesive which is developed most fast since 1980s, Based on the research status of Vinyl Acetate and Acrylate Copolymer Emulsion adhesive;the emulsion copolymerization is performed according to molecule design theory we optimize the synthesis technics and adjust the combination of monomer and get the Vinyl Acetate and Acrylate Copolymer Emulsion.we use it for woods adhesive and chopped strand glass mat adhesive; and expect to solve the problem of Vinyl Acetate and Acrylate copolymer emulsion adhesive and develop the properties of copolymer emulsion adhesive. the measurements;such as TEM; FTIR ;DSC and so on ;are employed to characterize the struture of the product. we analyze and discuss some influencing factors ; such as synthesis ; protecting colloid ; reaction times ; initiator ; emulsifier ; copolymer monomer ; tackifier resin and PH ; on the properties of acrylate copolymer emulsion adhesive. Vinyl Acetate and Acrylate copolymer emulsion also use in the Modification of Aqueous Polyurethane.The main results include that: (1)The low solid content Vinyl Acetate and Acrylate copolymer emulsion adhesive which is used in woods. The costing of production has been reduced and the tensile strength has been increased, the first-viscousness at low temperature has been reduced.(2) We use the technics of seed emulsion polymerization combining half-continuous dropping and get Vinyl Acetate and Acrylate copolymer emulsion adhesive for the chopped strand glass mato It's high solid content and flexible, without organic volatile.Compared with traditionl ornaments of chopped strand glass mat adhesive; there are advantages in the environment protect, the costing and viscosity are low...
