The Preparation And Property Of Acrylate Emulsion Adhesive

Acrylate polymer emulsion adhesive is one of the important applications for emulsion polymerization. Based on the research status of Acrylate emulsion adhesive,a large amount of work concerning to this field has been performed in this thesis. The influencing factors during the preparation of acrylate emulsion adhesive were studied according to molecule design and particle design. The measurements,such as TEM,FTIR,XPS,DSC and so on,were employed to characterize the structure of polymer.The main results include that: (1) The high solid content P(BA/VAc/AA) emulsion adhesive,more than 60%,has been successfully prepared,whose properties are excellent in use. The effect of the technical parameters,such as the initiator and emulsifier,on the properties of the product was also investigated. (2) The P(BA/AA) polymer emulsifier was prepared via the copolymerization of BA and AA. The factors as the solid content,dosage of monomers,means of polymerization,which have an effect on the reaction,were studied respectively. Following it,the prepared emulsifier was used in the preparation of acrylate emulsion adhesive. (3) The properties of polyvinyl acetate emulsion were improved by the copolymerizaton. So,the disadvantages of traditional PVAc emulsion adhesive have been solved,for instance,the poor water and freezing resistance. And the product hasn't the ingredient of formaldehyde,which can satisfy the request of the environment protection.
