The impact of thermal power plants on the atmosphere is an importantcomponent of the environmental impact of thermal power plants. Thermal powerplants in many regions ignore the air pollution control, in order to reduce investmentand production costs. This has a bad impact on air quality. Firstly, air pollutants ofthermal power plants are analyzed simply, which puts dust, SO2 and NOx as mainfactors. SO2 control technology is relatively mature, but NOx control technology atpresent still has the very big research space. According to Yuhuan Power Plant actualsituation, the technical measures to reduce NOx in Yuhuan Power Plant arespecifically analyzed. Yuhuan Power Plant reduces the NOx emission by theadoption of PM-bumer and MACT staged Combustion Technology. The forecastresults and actual results during the normal operation period are compared about theconcentration of NOx emission. Environmental performance of Yuhuan Power Plantis analyzed. The concentration of NOx emission of Yuhuan Power Plant meetsNational environmental standards fully. This can provide an example for other plantsto reduce the concentration of NOx emission.Atmospheric environment quality of Yuhuan Power Plant is tested. Six samplingspots are chosen after determining the testing scope and factors. The appropriate airpollutant testing and analysis methods are used to analyze and summarize thegathering samples and obtain the results. The results meet National environmentalstandards. Atmospheric environment impact due to air pollutants of Yuhuan PowerPlant is forecasted and analyzed, and the results also meet National environmentalstandards.This paper revolves the optimization measures about atmospheric environmentquality of thermal power plants. NOx control technology is studied in the technicalmeasure aspect. The "combination" thought of NOx control technology is raised,which includes combination goal, combination methods and combination effectanalysis. Thus, the highest effect to remove NOx is obtained by the most low cost.Pricing strategy of emission fee is studied in the environment management aspect. The "total quantity control" and "game theory" thought is introduced, and it isstudied how to formulate reasonable standards for emission fee. Thus, the regressionequation of emission fee's pricing model is obtained. It provides reference for thegovernment in making decisions, which can improve implementation force of thegovernment's environmental management policies. Two aspects to complement oneanother about the technical measure and environment management provide theeffective inspiration and instruction, in the environmental protection aspect for thegovernment and the enterprise. It can provide a new perspective to optimizeatmospheric environment quality of thermal power plants.
