The main object of dissertation is the cutting head of vertical shaft-type roadheader. It wants to get an avenue to improve capability of roadheader through analyzing distributing character of cutting head parameters and correlation of them.The dissertation firstly introduces the domestic and foreign development survey of roadheader and then analyzes its research, design level in our country, the international standard disparity, and points out the significance of the stud)'.Through thorough research of each parameter, this dissertation produces a method of establishing three-dimensional model which also suits other types of cutting heads.Based on the theory of rock-crashing and the theory of same-cutting-deep, by systems analyzing, the dissertation points out that lead is not only influenced by cutting-deep, but also by rotate speed and bit-distributing-angle, and gives a formula among them in reason. It is an innovation of this dissertation because in the past it is only a general explaining which can't explain the relations among them in quantity. It can offer a reference when designing cutting head.Using the Cosmos/works and Adams software, the dissertation does the finite element analysis and simulation analysis, the result indicates that under the load the stress of one bit concentrates on the bit tine and the root of the bit seat, and distortion and displacement is less which can't affect the impact angle 8 and torsion angleε. So it can be ignored when analyzing the capability of the cutting head of roadheader. This offers the gist when predigesting the dynam model of cutting head. Changing shape of bit seat can amend in evidence the affect of stress concentrating, but it can't amend in evidence the stress concentrating of bit suit and cutting head.Using simulation software the dissertation compares speed and acceleration under different movement model of roadheader, and then gives a better mode through synthesizing those modes. Through mode analysis, the dissertation points out distributing range of the main frequencies which can offer a reference when designing roadheader.
