The numerical control engine bed and the manufacture system which is composed by the numerical control engine bed are the basic important equipment for the construction of digitalized enterprise and the reconstruction of traditional industry, whose development have gained public attention ever since. After entering into the 21st century, the technology of numerical control system gets its rapid development with the help of the new system structure and the new technical mentality. The open style numerical control system is an inevitable trend for the development of numerical control system, however, the open style numerical control system, which is based on the Windows microcomputer, is even more flexible. Not only can it make full use of the PC's rich resources of software and hardware and powerful technical superiority, but it can also make it easier to realize such functions as numerical control UI (user interface), figure displaying, dynamic imitation, as well as communication online.This project deals with hardware platform which is composed by PC and a movement control card. It is a "NC to insert PC" structured microcomputer numerical control system. Under the Windows operating system platform, programming a numerical control system program with Visual C++6.0 can fulfill the basic function of numerical control lathe. The interface of man-machine contact is beautiful, practical, besides, it is also convenient for users to operate the engine. The system has the function of verifying the NC processing code grammatically, inspecting the grammatical error in the numerical control procedure, as well as imitating the process of cutting tools through processed module. The system includes a small repository for craft work, therefore, it can inspect the NC processing procedure and pick out the errors by means of using the craftwork data in the repository. The system developing utilizes the modulation and the object-oriented programming method, which highly enhances the system' s versatility and transplantation. In addition, this makes it convenient for future expansion of system function.
