| Since long ago, the drawing die mold design is the craft personnel depends on the experience, it often has many problems. Because the drawing die mold design is complex, it needs to carry on massive computations and consult handbook, this need consumption designs the designer much time and energy. When carries on the drawing die mold design, according to components size, not only needs to calculate the semi finished materials size, various working procedures size and so on, but also needs to consult the handbook to determine: Trimming remainder, whether uses presses the circle, the number of drawing times and the drawing coefficient and so on, its work load is extremely big.This article follows the software engineering principle, applies its classics the structure the method of analysis - structure design - structure programming (SA-SD-SP) and uses Visual Basic 6.0 as development tool and simulates classical design process of drawing process to build an integraed CAD system for drawing process to build an integrated CAD system for drawing process. The user only need to input the components in the corresponding input contact surface some primitive parameters, then the computer can carry out the result of the design process of this Component. The main researching content of the CAD system is following:(1)Whirl part: cylinder part(flangeless cylinder part and flange cylinder part), trapezoidal part, half ball part and parabola part.(2) Whirlless part: boxlike part(rectangular box part and quadrate box part), complicated part.In this paper, the CAD system development of flangeless cylinder part is presented as an example, SA-SD-SP is used to the part's software engineering analysis, and developt CAD system for drawing process on the basic. The practical application shows that the visual of this CAD system is friendly and concise, which successful realizes man-machine conversation. The function of this CAD system accord with the demand of design process, and the expansibility also is fully considerated. The designer can be free from referring to a lot of information and computing many data by using auto-search and auto-compute. The designer not only can improve the quality and the speed of a desing , but also can successfully reduce cost and improve design efficiency. |
