In safety production and management of mining and geotechnical engineering, the problem of how to keep the information circulating and smooth of underground constructions everywhere at any moment is encountered frequently. Whether in tunnels of underground mine, or in highway tunnels, underground tunnels of buildings, underground, whether the information is circulation and smooth is the leading element and key factor of highly efficient production, security control, rescuing dangerous situations, effective control and modernized management of whole project and enterprise opration. For the underground communication of mine, the best communication model is the ideal way of underground leaky cable radio communication. Therefore, in order to ensure the highly effective production, safety attempering and the level of modernized management, we must research and analyse the underground leaky cable radio communication of mine scientifically and reasonably.In fact, underground leaky cable communication technology of mine is a scientific topic of Multidisciplinary integration in complex systems of Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering and Mining Engineering. Traditionally, the underground communication of mine just realized the extremely simple wired telephone conversation through limited wiring. The domestic mine occupies basically the blank condition regarding the mine shaft wide range wireless correspondence. Comparing with our mine high level mining technology, this is extremely not symmetric. It has hindered enormously the modernized management and digital mine construction advancement of our country mine. Because of the complex environment and special circumstances of underground mines, the research and application of underground radio communication technology have been an objective limit. In recent years, with the rapid development of electronics, communications and computer technology, international and domestric experts have been in-depthly study of the technology. They achieved many research results and developed a series of related products which are used in foreign mins. The technical feasibility is proven and it has become the focus and direction of development of future underground mines radio communication. Therefore, what the leaky cable communication technology is applied to underground mines communication is undoubtedly a very feasible and effective means.On the basis of the background investigation, current situation research and question discussion of underground leaky cable radio communication technology, the work of scene investigation, familiar with the process, observing the system's operation, detection results status, data collection practice and access to a large number of reference has been carried out and the study started. Through analysis of the background and current situation, basic research, key technology discussion and practice reference of underground leaky cable communication technology, combining all the advantages of domestic and foreign technology, the target of establishing a underground leaky cable multifunctional integrated communications system of voice, video and data set. Paper focuses on applied research and is consistent with the requirements of the development of modern mining. Firstly, the mine underground radio communication technology is taken as the premise. The analysis of the transmission characteristic and pattern of radio wave in mine shaft is launched and summary of the mine shaft radio communication is summarized. Secondly, leaky cable communication technology principle and structure craft of underground leaky cable communication system are thoroughly analyzed and studied. Basic work principle of leaky cable communication technology and system character and function are elaborated separately. The structure, buildup, main modules and related technical specification of the underground leaky cable radio communication system are analyzed detailedly. And then, with range of service and quality analysis and system function and economic efficiency analysis, the system is evaluated in a certain extent. Thirdly, performance analysis of the leaky cable as a major system component, research on the radio leaky transmission mechanism and relaying transmission technology, how to enhance the quality of the leaky cable and what the principles and methods of inspection of the leaky cable radio communication system. As several key technologies of the leaky communication system, the above four aspects are analysed in-depthly. Fourthly, the realization plans of underground mine leaky cable communication system and application modelings are analyzed with emphasis in fundamental research. Simultaneously, the system network suggestion is produced. Then, the article produces the summary and imports a multi-functional integrated leaky cable communication system basing on leaky feeder cable. It includes system composition, main technical parameter, main function, analysis of the key technical problem, benefit analysis and research conclusion. Lastly, project examples are introduced and analysed. With practical application analysis, research on the underground leaky cable communication technology is practical and concrete even more. Finally, the research of the article returns to the idea and purpose of combining theory and practice.In view of the development status and realities demand of the current mine production, we need to set up a multi-functional integrated leaky cable communication system. In a certain extent, its establishment will provide effective guarantees for efficient production, security control and modernized management of mine.
