This article originates from the China Petro-Chemistry Group subordinate Chongqing Yiping Grease Company, research project"Research on key technologies of new bidirectional scraping grease kettle". The grease kettle is important equipment in the production process of grease. The mixer, scraper and movement-combined reducer are key parts of grease kettle, their performance directly influence product quality and production efficiency. Therefore, correlative researches have the important theoretical significance and the practical value. This paper specifically conducted researches on mixer, scraper and movement-combined reducer which are essential technologies of grease kettles. The main content includes:â‘ Analyzed grease characteristic in flow and the traits during mixing; basing on CFD, investigated the flow field of single paddle, paddle-frames combined impeller, spiral-belt and screw combined impeller for the high viscosity non-Newtonian agitating; analyzed the influence of the impeller combination way, the paddle spacing, the paddle angle, rotational speed on the flow field.â‘¡Proposed one kind of auto-adapted scraper which is powered by fluid flowing press, worked out suitable condition for scraping; and basing on the flow field and the temperature field numerical investigation, studied the influence of different scraper structure on the heat transfer in the high viscosity fluid.â‘¢Based on the structural design and the finite element analysis, developed a movement-combined spiral bevel gear reducer bidirectional successfully for bi-directional scraping grease kettle.â‘£Participated design and manufacture of 6 m 3 new-style bi-directional scraping grease kettle.
