After the Three Gorges Dam completed ,the water-environmental security in this area will not only endanger the life and property safety of people in and around the area, but also hinder the sustainable development of the regions of middle and lower reaches. At present, But China's current water quality monitoring system is not so advanced in the application of automation and information technology. Therefore, the use of advanced science and technology to design the Three Gorges reservoir water environment safety monitoring is imperative. With computer technology, automation technology, and communications technology is developing rapidly, Great Basin area of water quality monitoring technology has matured. Because of this, this paper presents the Three Gorges Dam area water safety monitoring model based on Internet/WebGIS/GPRS/, and carry out the design and realization.This paper designed the water quality monitoring scheme of the large-scale water area based on WebGIS, use WebGIS technology achieved the Three Gorges reservoir water environment monitoring systems open design, which directly reflected to the user with water distribution monitoring points, water quality monitoring information,and also improved the environmental prediction and decision-making emergency response capability, meanwhile which is breakthrough of the traditional water quality monitoring technology on factors such as geographic space limitations. The key and difficult of water quality monitoring system is long-range automatic collected of Water quality monitoring data, This paper research technical characteristics and the way of realization of every the data collected system, selection based on the RS-485 bus technology and GPRS wireless communications technology of the system of data acquisition, Practice has proven GPRS technology can achieve well within the limits of the real-time data collection and complex environment of poor water quality unmonitored, and more specifically applicable to the collection point, data transmission automatically generate the field of water analysis equipment data transmission and monitoring. Through the analysis of C/S and B/S data released two models, water quality monitoring system with the actual demand, this paper design a real-time data distribution model based on B/S, which achieve water quality information and data dissemination of timely, accurate and convenient. Meanwhile, this paper use fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to build fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of the Three Gorges reservoir area, the model will convert water quality monitoring values into quality value that reflects water quality, it will overcome other water quality evaluation in the shortage of clear the artificial.The technology of water quality auto-monitoring and prediction researched in this paper will contribute to the application of the auto-monitoring engineering, to the realization of real-time monitoring of water quality, remote control and water quality prediction. It will be useful to construct a highly automatized, informationized decision support system to support auto-monitoring water quality and decision, auto-acquiring water quality data, the monitoring of water quality at terminals, analysis of the water quality and decision monitoring center, for the correlative departments, such as environment protection, hydrology, water conservancy, etc.
