The air-5%K2CO3 solution system was chosen as the experimental system, and the wet tray pressure drop and the relative liquid lift-up of single cover of CTST were measured in the state of gas-filling in liquid layer. The effect of hight of clear liquid layer, F0-factor based on tray hole, void fraction, hight of gap between cover and plate, and width of tray hole were considered. The mathematic model of lift-up was established.The wet tray pressure drop was measured and it was showed that the pressure drop increased with clear liquid layer and F0-factor based on tray hole, decreased with the void fraction in the state of gas-filling in liquid layer.The state of gas-filling of liquid layer was simulated by blowing the air to the liquid of tray, and the relative liquid lift-up of single cover was measured in different void fraction. The results showed: the relative liquid lift-up decreased slimly with the growth of void fraction in the state of gas-filling of liquid layer, and the liquid lift-up increased with the increase of height of clear liquid layer and the decrease of F0-factor based on tray hole in the same void fraction. At the same condition the liquid lift-up increased and then decreased with the increase of the cover bottom, and increased when the width of tray hole became narrow.On the basis of conversation of energy the mathematic model of lift-up was established, which can describe the experimental data.
