Ecological security evaluation is the hotspot issue at present, the land environment is the important part of the ecosystem, the land ecological security is one of the important research content on ecological security. At present, because of increasing of population and developing of economy, the increasing of land using intension is leading to degeneration on structure and function of land ecosystem, and strictly menacing regional ecological security, so land ecological security research is very important. At present, land ecological security evaluation research is at step, correlative research is not any more, and ecological security evaluation theory is in discuss, evaluation means, index system and criterion are difficult on study, land ecological security forecast and fore-alarm is at explore, all this need to study and carry out in different regions, the existing study is based on actuality, lack the study on dynamic process and continuity of mostly land ecological environment. In this text, the author tries to set up evaluation means and index system and analysizes land ecological security status in time-space series. This will offer reference in land ecological security research, give sustenance for collocating land effectly and persist development on zoology_economy, afford reference for making regional development policy.This study integrates tutor' s country natural science fund item (40371003) and takes Ningxia Hui municipality for example. Ningxia Hui municipality is in northwest drought zone, it is typical continent climate, and it is our mostly region in water and soil erosion and desertification. Ningxia' s west nears to teng-ge - li desert, east neighours to mao-wu-su desert, south belongs to loess hilly area, north is yellow river plain, it' s entironment is very fragile, drought, evaporated, low bestrowing, depravating, windy, desertification severely。Land productivity is very low, and water and soil drift seriously, drought occurs frequently. Plus people's frequent cultivation and over loading herd and digging, vegetation is destroyed, Grassland is degenerating, land salinization and desertion are serious, land ecosystem' s serving function attenuates sharply, all this seriously menace region ecological security, directly touch regional persist development. Especially in south ningxia, Land production is very serious, people' s poverty is attentioned by the world.Based on ecological security evaluation universality index system, combining regional land using structure and characteristic, using synthesis evaluation method to evaluate land ecological security state in this text. It discusses how to fully evaluate land ecological security, attempts to set up the method, model and index system on land ecological security, enacts evaluation standard. It uses land ecological security evaluation model to evaluate land ecological security space difference in each county of Ningxia in 2005, validates and analyzes the result to discuss the feasibility and rationality. It is the trend on research from static actuality evaluation to dynamic process evaluation. For obtaining the land entironment evolutive process and continuity, it chooses date from 1990 to 2005 and calculates land ecological security synthesis values of sixteen years in Ningxia. The result indicates that land entironment has improved, but is still in alert status (rist status). Land zoology problem is serious in Ningxia, region diversity is very distinct. Taking North, Middle part, South of Ningxia to evaluate, we can see that land entironment in North is better than that of Middle part and South, but the status is not optimistic at all. We know what Ningxia is faced with is not only land degenerate issue, but also economy issue and society issue that with region persist development from the whole evaluation results. So, aiming at harmony development of zoology benefit, economy benefit, society benefit, we advance the ecological rebuilding model for decision-maker to obtain integrate information, collocate ]and resource effectly, give sustain for persist development of zoology-economy-society, offer reference for making regional develop policy.The innovation of the thesis are as following:(1) Land ecological security study is at beginning, the theory study is weaker, there are differences in conception of Land ecological security. Based on ecological security connotation, this text defined Land ecological security, and expounded the connotation, it is significant for theory study.(2) It is an exploring work for building Land ecological security evaluation index model. It is difficult for confirming the indexes, evaluation method. For complexity of evaluation factors, there isn't technical evaluation index system for now. This text tries to build land ecological security evaluation index system, and use synthesis mean to evaluate land status, offer study way and model for research.(3) At present, the research on Land ecological security still rests on actuality evaluation, lacks study on land develop change for different periods. It is trend for study from static actuality evaluation to dynamic process evaluation. This text dynamicly evaluates and analyses the study regional land status from 1990 year to 2005 year. It is useful for obtaining the process and continuity of land entironment change, establishing basic for simulating develop trend, fore-alarm and forecast.
