Study On Green Fire Technologies

With the development of social and economic, the fires were growing danger, and led to tremendous casualties, property losses and bad social influence as well as serious environmental pollution and damage. This paper in-depth analyses the effect of atmospheric environment, water environment, ecological environment, soil and fire extinguishing agent to the ozone layer destruction during the process of firing and fire-fighting based on the full understanding of the domestic fire situation, and gives a definition of the fire green technologies, expatiates the content of green fire extinguisher, green flame retardant technologies and the performance-based fire-protection design, shows the characteristic of fire green technologies. Finally, indicates the application qualification and characteristic by using the application of fine water mist system in the new Convention and Exhibition Center in Chengdu as an example, and relates to the proposed evaluation system.Fire green technologies which used in fire prevention and fire fighting is inevitable, through in-depth theoretical study reached the following conclusions:â‘ the smoke,toxic gas,heat released in the fire , the fire extinguishing agent and the wastewater that with the combustion product caused serious harm to the atmosphere,water body,soil and the ecological environment;â‘¡traditional Halon fire extinguishing agent hazard to the environment is mainly produced by the CFCs to ozone layer depletion of atmospheric ozone, UV surface enhanced,endanger human health and ecological balance;â‘¢the fine water mist extinguishing system is the ideal green fire safety systems through contrasting the extinguishing agent FM-200, CO₂ extinguishing agent, foam extinguishing agent and fine water mist extinguishing system, it has low environmental pollution, low cost, easy to store, and other characteristics;â‘£the green fire economy evaluation system is received through synthesize analysis, i.e., meet the condition of not harmful to the environmental and humans, fire efficient, easy long-term storage, prices reasonable and not cause secondary pollution conditions;⑤currently, fire management in China has a lot of shortcomings, should further strengthen fire managemen.
