The Manufacture And Quality Standard Of The Piantan Kangfu Capsule

The decoction of Semen strychni, Radix Astragali, Rhizoma chuanxiong, et al can be used to improve apoplexy and hemiplegy. Because the Traditional Chinese Medicine includes many chemical components, it is difficult to establish a uniform quality standard. So, establishing a suitable standard is valuable. Owing to the complex decoction, the article innovates the preparation technics and makes it to capsules after analyzing the chemical components.First, the article analyzes the chemical components using TLC. The Strychnine and Brucine, Astragalosideâ…£, Ferulic acid were observed to identify the Semen strychni, Radix Astragali and Rhizoma chuanxiong. Simultaneously, two new TLC were established to analyze Radix Astragali and Rhizoma chuanxiong. Besides, moisture, lixiviation and ash were also observed.the solid content yield and Astragalus Polysaccharides (APS) content were observed by method of L₉ (3⁴) orthogonal design and UV. A technique of extraction process of APS was extracted four times by water, first put the powder in about 10 times water for 0.5h, then boiled for 1.5 h; the second was 8 multiples, cooked 1.0 h; the third and the fourth was 6 multiples and boiled 1.0 h separately. This method can be used for the quality control of Radix AstragaLi rapidly,simply and accurately. A technique of extraction process of ferulic acid was extracted two times by 80% ethanol, first was 6 multiples, and cooked for 2.0 h; the second was also 6 multiples, but cooked 1.0 h; then boiled in water for 1h. In the end, the thchnics gets the powder of Semen strychni to the solution above-mentioned.To combine the qualitative TLC and the quantitative HPLC, the article establishes the quality-standard of Piantan Kangfu Capsules. The methodology indicates that the precision and recurrence is good and RSD of the average recovery is lower than 3.37%. And the stability can last for 24 hours. Finally, the article established the quality standard and provided the foundation of quality control of Piantan Kangfu Capsules.
