Evaluation On The Value Of Wetland Ecosystem Services In The Yellow River Delta

The studies on ecosystem services function are taken into account,which is one of the front topics of international wetland study.The wetland in the Yellow River Delta is the youngest and the characteristic wetland in the world,which has draw various countries' scholars' widespread attention.The ecosystem function reasonable localization as well as the evaluation method correct selection, are the key point and the difficulty to evaluate the value of wetland ecosystem services in the Yellow River Delta. Evaluation of the wetland ecosystem services value in the Yellow River is the protection and the reasonable development foundation.The wetland in the Yellow River Delta is the estuary wetland, the newborn wetland, which type is various ,ecological environment is unique and ecology benefit is important. According to the Landsat TM images interpretation data of land-use in 2004,data surveyed the district and the complicated dynamical mechanism, wetland types are divided into 10 types:River wetland, estuary wetland, mudflat wetland, swamp wetland, meadow wetland, open forest bushwood wetland and reservoir wetland, canal wetland, pit or pond wetland, shrimp or crab or salt field wetland, rice paddy wetland and so on.The main ecological functions of the wetland in the Yellow River Delta include reclamation function, material production function,climate regulation function,water supplies function,regulating rever level function, degrading contamination function, soil protection function, habitat function, scientific research function, tour and entertainment function, and so on.The market value method,reforestation cost method, subtitute method,shadow project method,contingent valuation method and research outcomes of Costanza et al are used to evaluate the value of wetland ecosystem services in the Yellow River Delta . The results prove that the annual value of the wetland ecosystem services in the Yellow River Delta is about176.08 billon Yuan RMB,among which the reclamation value is 0.024 billon Yuan RMB;material production value is 22.04billon Yuan RMB;climate regulation value is 17.86 billon Yuan RMB;water supplies value is 14.13 billon Yuan RMB;regulating rever level value is 53.79 billon Yuan RMB;degrading contamination value is 39.96 billon Yuan RMB;soil protection value 7.53 billon Yuan RMB;habitat value is 7.72 billon Yuan RMB;scientific research value is 5.75 billon Yuan RMB; tour and entertainment value is 7.28 billon Yuan RMB.According to analysises of ecosystem services and value,the paper analyzes the main problems of ecological environment and causes that the problems produce.The area of the natural wetlands in the Yellow River Delta is continually descend, the whole wetland tends to be fragmentized ,because of excessive exploitation, drying-up of the Yellow River, wetland pollution, arising of the sea level and so on.Then the paper estimates roughly value losing.Finally,the paper puts forward relevant advices and measures:strengthening Yellow rivertrail,Stabling current road of the Yellow river that enters ocean, improving water environment,resolving the problem of the Yellow river cut-off problem,controlling wetland exploitation, building the wet land data-base and so on.
