| The complex Chinese herbal formula Tongqiao Biyan Pian was an effective medical prescription. It was used to treat rhinitis. The major active compounds were considered to be aetherolea, polysaccharides, flavonoids, saponins. The extraction and purification process with supercritical fluid extraction and macroporous rein was studied. The quality standard of the extract and the Tongqiao Biyan soft capsule was also studied.
