The ce ramic production firing of roller kiln is a large scale, complex and continuity industry manufacture process, which has multi-variable and strongly coupled character. There are five processes in it, which are product physic-chemic transformations, material moving, combustion, heat transfer and gas flow processes. In these processes, the relations among four factors have been studied, which are temperature, pressure, atomosphere and transmission velocity. Then a synthesis model of the roller kiln process has been founded.As measuring values of different detecting nodes in roller kiln have redundancy relationship according to the model, an adaptive weighted arithmetic based on D-S evidence theory has been brought forward to estimate a more exact and reliable value. It is practicable by giving attentions to both of calculation complexity and estimation precision.Finally, a networked control system structure of roller kiln has been designed with CAN technology. Then its communication functions have been decompossed in several blocks. As fiame requesting and offering functions are developed in the application layer of CAN, information sharing fuction has been implemented among the nodes, which provides the base to realize the previously arithmetic and a new model of point to point communication in CAN.
