Carbon Fiber Reinforce Composite (CFRC) are hard processing materials and the component can be easily broken when processing by traditional machining methods. The research on the machining methods of CFRC is more and more popular with the extensive application of CFRC in the aviation, spaceflight, automobile, sports, entertainment and other areas.The thesis aims at CFRC thin wall structure using common used 3-D software SolidWorks as the CAD platform and explores the designing method of high speed digital control drilling and grinding machine. The SolidWorks was utilized to conduct the structure design of drilling and grinding machine and the ANSYS was used to analyze the structure design. After the manufacturing, assembly and debugging, a high speed digital control drilling and grinding machine was developed that can fit the requirement of processing thin wall component. The main contents are as follows:(1) Structural design of drilling and grinding machine. Establishing the 2-D and 3-D model of drilling and grinding machine after the analysis of the characteristic of CFRC thin wall component, according to the requirement of machine designing. Then assembling the drilling and grinding machine by the simulation and examining the movements intervene of the machine's structural component.(2) The sliding pillow of the machine is cantilever and the important part. Establishing the FEA model of the sliding pillow and conducting the static and dynamic analysis of the sliding pillow. After the analysis, the dynamics characteristic of the sliding pillow is achieved. Finally, the conclusion is presented that the structural designs of the sliding pillow fulfill the requirement.(3) Analyzing and experimenting for the machine of drilling and grinding. Analyzing the factor of precision, the method of assembling and debugging is proposed. And through inspecting and adjusting Geometry precision of the machine during the process of experiment, it is possible that Geometry precision is satisfied with the requirement of machining.(4) According to the emulation of typical component the machining craftwork of CFRC thin wall component and NC program is developed which fulfill the requirement of digital control machine, and provides a foundation of experimentation for the drilling and grinding machine.The machine solves the processing of carbon fiber multiple material thin wall components for the spaceflight and craftwork research center. The machine can ensure the processing quality and the working efficiency with low cost.
