| The aim of division of ecological functional region is a crucial section to safeguard the regional ecological security, to guide to reasonably explore the regional resources, to realize the environmental friendly society and to provide the scientific basement and the management information. In order to display the mechanism of the eco-system which consists of human-being, resource, environment and economy, some principles of eco-system are use to analyze the characteristic of eco-system, such as Survival of fittest, Expand to accommodate of eco-niche and Feedback. In the temporal and spatial dimension, the function of ecological allocation is fully researched. According to the principle of ecological division and the analyzing on the vision of the division of drainage area, the functional allocation of ecological system and the ecological region division of Baoding should be divided by the mainstay of the ecological service function of the Baiyang Lake. The program of the regional division should be set up to be based on the function of ecological service, and the principle of regional distribution of ecological sensitiveness, and the important of exploration of eco-resources. Furthermore, the ecological functional region should be consisted eco-region for the Baoding city, eco-subregion and functional service eco-region. After some ecological characteristics and issues of each eco-service functional region are analyzed, some countermeasures are finally put forward to promote environmental protection and ecological constructing of the sustainable development of regional economy.
