The Setting Of The General Chemistry Contents In Public Security Colleges And Teaching Study

General chemistry, as the professional basic course in public security colleges is taught for the students to learn to do the criminal lab test, and its teaching contents should be aimed at its need. And further more, investigating and cracking criminal cases also needs chemistry knowledge. Many issues and jobs in social life depend on chemistry. But the public security colleges choose to teach the present chemistry teaching materials used in general colleges. And it is mostly at will. Therefore, it is hard to meet the requirements of cultivating special staffs for public security work.From the point of improving the subject accomplishment and quality of the students in public security college, public security colleges must accord to their professional speciality and talent education object, to restructure the content of general chemistry; improve the teaching methods and means.Firstly, this article discussed the composing principal of the general chemistry contents; made up the content system of the general chemistry; made teaching essential requirements of the general chemistry contents in public security colleges. Secondly, teaching strategy of the general chemistry contents in public security colleges is also discussed, as follows: how to create an active atmosphere in class; how to arouse the students'learning motives; how to use the multimedia teaching means rationally; and so on.In the research, the system content of the course is restructured, we choose the useful basic knowledge which is good for the students'development, and collect the most valuable material into the course. The old and dated material is canceled. We reorganized and optimized the original contents of"organic chemistry"and"analytical chemistry"; the matter structure and chemical reaction is stressed; we especially pay more attention to the combination of basic theory with practice. It is good enough for the students to learn <> and good for their future public security work.As to teaching methods, mainly based on enlightening ways, combining multiple teaching ways, the purpose is to bring up the students'interests, and encourage their creative power; try to establish the equal relations between the teachers and students, and encourage them to think and learn by themselves; rationally use CAI to increase their learning chemistry initiatives; through teaching some helpful cases, increase the combination of basic theory with practice, improve their abilities of application in their work in the future.
