The Shape Setting Up Model Building Of PC And Simulating Software Development

Strip shape is one of the most important indexes of strip's quality. Work piece was influenced by many factors such as original profile, tension, rolling force, bending force and rolling velocity. These influences all were nonlinear. After systematically analysis, the strip profile under the specified condition was simulated accurately, the variation regularity of strip profile was also found.Associated with the project of the PC and based on the theory of rolls' elastic deforming, the strip profile set up calculation software for 4-high mill was developed with the Influence Coefficient Method, and the high accuracy mathematic models of strip profile set up influence ratio were built, then a general analytic tool was offered for the building of high accuracy strip shape control model and the optimization of the coefficients.The main work and contents of the thesis are as follows:(1) The mathematical model of roll system elastic deformation is set up with influence function, the formulas are deduced that are the elastic deformation and the flattening of the rolls. The software has been founded for the realization of automatic shape control of PC mills.(2) The influence function of roll's lateral stiffness, work roll bending, the degree of PC, the roll crown and the strip crown in shape set up model have been founded. (3) Shape control characteristics of the PC mill, such as pair cross and work rollbending have been studied theoretically. The theoretical foundation has been founded for the realization of automatic shape control of PC mill.(4) A visual interface of this software was developed with circumstanceof VB6.
