With the development of electronic computer terminal technology, thermalsensitive records have gruadually taken the place of other traditional methods in the fields of fax scanning, image reprography, information transfer and etc. Nowadays, more and more different kinds of thermalsensitive recording materials have appeared in markets and they are widely used in department stores, supermarkets, banks, hospitals, airports and other fields.The thermalsensitive coating of thermalsensitive recording papers includes thermalsensitive dyes dispersion, developer dispersion and inorganic filler dispersion. Overpass the orthogonal experiments, the best dosages of dispersants, adhesive agents and surfactants have been determined. And the dispersibility and stability of the dispersion are raised. The structure and the granularity of the dispersion are observed and analysed by SEM and PCS. The dispersibility and the stability are analysed by UV. Also, the influence of developing phenomenon by inorganic fillers with different amounts has been studied.It is showed that the high-concentration stable dispersions are prepared by traditional dispersing methods when proper kinds of additives and proper amounts of them are used. Tests on the dispersion prepared show that the average sizes of the particles are reduced and the dispersibility and stability of the dispersion are raised. The developing experiment also show that when the different amouts of inorganic filler are added, the density of thermalsensitive recording papers chages a lot but the initial developing temperature and the developing colour haven't changed a lot.
