This paper put forward the project of the shearer equipment for curve track, built up the model to reach this aim, In this paper, the shearer equipment is the main research object. On the one hand, the paper built up the shearer model on the condition of the velocity anlyais; on the other hand, in order to shear the armor plate with various heights, it is necessary to think over the adjustment of slice clearance. With the help of the theory of the virtual prototyping technology (VPT) and the software for dynamics and kinematics analysis, it construed the kinematics performance of the shearer equipment, built up the FEA (finite element analysis) model of the shear axis and analysised its stress and distortion.First of all, this text did an overview of the VPT, then introduced systematically these soft wares: Pro/ENGINEERING 3.0 for building 3D model,ADAMS2005 for kinematics and dynamics analysis,ANSYS10.0 for FEA used in this paper. Additionally, the paper discussed the method of data conversion between the two arbitrary soft wares.Make use of the velocity analysis, the paper put forward the theory basis for curve cutting and built the model. Eccentric axis guide and adjusting nut can adjust the clearance and overlap of two slices. So it improved the flexibility and rationality of the shearer equipment.Because the cutting track is curve, cutting velocity need adjusting momentarily. This text used the servo system to change velocity. By the kinematics analysis of the typical shear curve, the paper got the velocity data and angular velocity data for servo' input data.Under the shear condition, shear axis must stand the shear force. The paper used ANSYS analysis the stress and distortion of the shear axis. The result shows that shear force have little influence to shear veracity.In conclusion, the paper studied the shearer equipment. It can improve the shear efficiency, reduce the shear cost and lower the complexity of the control.
