With the development of our society and economical, our life quantity has sharp growth, but the problem of household garbage,especial the kitchen garbage which has reached to 30%~40% of it. Therefore the problem of kitchen garbage becomes to be an urgent question to be solved. This article uses the Japanese S-15 bio-toilet which utilize sawdust and corn stalk as two different matrix for kitchen garbage degradation by Microorganism.After 16 day-long degeneration, we have achieved good effect in both two degradation processes. We make the samples by ourselves in the laboratory for contrast.The result indicates: In two degradation process , the tendency of temperature change is high-low; the tendency of total nitrogen's change is ascending, but the tendency of organic content is decending; the moisture content by using corn stalk is higher than using sawdust, the tendency of moisture content in two different degradation processes is low -high - low; The difference of pH in two degradation process is big, the pH in sawdust is 3.8~6.5 which is acidic while in corn stalk is 6.67~8.57 which is alkalescent. In the same experimental condition, the degeneration speed by using corn stalk is quicker than using sawdust.In two degradation processes ,microorganism's change is also different. The number of bacteria in corn stalk as matrix is about 1~2 Magnitude higher than which is in sawdust, the change tendency in both two degeneration process is the same, the change tendency of mesophilic bacteria is high-low-high,which of thermophilic bacteria is high-low; because of the differences of two matrix's pH , the number of fungi in sawdust as matrix is about 2~3 Magnitude higher than which is in corn stalk,; the change tendency of mesophilic fungi is low-high,which of thermophilic fungi is low-high-low; In both two degradation processes, the detection rate of ray fungi is very low.In two processes, the bacteria is dominant species compared to fungi ,the number is 4~5 Magnitude higher .Through the experiment, we can find that the microorganism have obvious effect to the saccharide, the lipid, the protein in two degradation processes .
