China's environmental education is on the basis of dealing with the worldwide environmental crisis.At the early stage of development,it just stay more in the promotion of environmental protection policies and learning the environmental protection knowledge instead of going to a deeper level of questioning--- Why should we carry out environmental protection and how to carry out environmental protection. There is no doubt that these deep-rooted concept of thinking problems,China's environmental education hasn't been done enough.This has resulted in nearly 30 years of environmental education to some extent the failure.In the rise of globe environmental protection at worldwide scale,based on our strong historical needs of environmental education,the paper tries to analyze the environmental education to find out the status of the existence of the problem and address these problems to find appropriate solutions.In view of this,the introduction of the U.S.naturalism thinkers Henry David Thoreau's view of nature.On the basis of understanding,analyzing and demonstrating Thoreau's view of nature thoroughly,it refines an ideological concept and the motion action "the appreciation harmony",at the same time,combining China's environmental education with the actual situation, the paper draws a conclusion:From the concept of seperated subject and object to the concept of combined subject and object,put the "appreciation of harmony" into environmental education,and take appreciation as a link in order to approach nature,know nature and respect for nature,so that nature and humanbeings can coexist harmoniously and there will be a sustainable development.The thesis points out that the solution to the contradiction relationship between man and nature and the proper guidance to help people foster a proper concept of thinking on it are key points to promote environmental education,to play an effective environmental function and to solve the environmental crisis.This topic's value goal does not lie to the panoram-like description and analysis of China environmental education system's theory and the practice,but make the preliminary discussion mutually of the basic environment education problems--the concept of relationship between nature and man and the subject and the object between the relationship,which are the main cause of failure of the environmental education,and the combination of the subject and the object,via starting to understand reasonably the harmony of appreciation.
