So far, the earth we human being have been living on has passed through a long time for 4.6 billion years. Before long, we were supposed to be superior to the nature with a slogan that "human can conquer the nature" and asked for an excessive demand willfully. Human has made brilliant achievements as well as serious disasters, which caused various environment problems stealthily. It involved not only living quality but also many other aspects like society, politics and economy etc. Therefore, education has been considered as the essential method to implant consciousness of environment crisis in people's mind, which makes their behaviors harmonious with the environment.1950s as its origin, environment education went through a course from start, rise, flourishing development to drawing so much attention nowadays. Entering 21st century, environment education is considered as a course penetrating the whole education field. Along with the recognition of sustainable development, the connotation of environment education is being adjusted gradually, which emphasizes to make educatee understand that development, as an inevitable factor in the progress of human society, should not base on the victimization of living environment to realize its fullest extent.According to the theory of brain science and multiple-intelligence and reference with research findings on environment education both at home and abroad, this paper discuss the concepts, brief development and teaching targets of environment education. Sticking to discipline of easy understanding and analyzing interrelated teaching material, we select six subjects, compile teaching material and offer students who major in humanities and social science information about environment in the form of elective course. During the course, we focus on designing some effective teaching strategies to arouse enthusiasm of students and strengthen their environment consciousness. On the basis of results from questionnaire inquired after course and students' feedback, we draw a conclusion that environment education is an educational field beyond its own knowledge standard. It concerns the change of environment values and attitude and development in emotion domain involving various non-intelligence factors. Only by this mean, can we improve educatee's intensive environment consciousness.
