In this dissertation, cyclotriphosphazene derivatives substituted with fluroalkoxy groups were synthesized and applied on cotton fabrics finishing. The excellent retardant effect was obtained with the optimum finishing technology condition.Using octafluoropenyl alcohol and tetrafluoropropyl alcohol as materials, two kinds of fluorocyclotriphosphazene derivatives substituted with different fluroalkoxy groups were synthesized. The structure of these fluorocyclotriphosphazenes was characterized by FT-IR, and thermal performance was tested by TG and DTA.The titled fluorocyclotriphosphazene derivatives can be emulsfied by suitable emulsifier with good stability, this afford us a kind of novel flame retardant agent. The influence of different technology conditions on the effect of flame-retardant finishing was investigated and the optimized finishing process was acquired. The two kinds of flame retardant agent were lastly applied on cotton fabrics successful. The structure and performance of treated and untreated cotton fabrics was studied. The structure of cotton fabrics was characterized by FT-IR and X-ray diffraction. The thermal decomposition behavior and surface morphology of fabrics was studied through TG , DTA and SEM respectively. In addition, water and oil repellency of fabrics was tested, the result showed that treated cotton fabrics possessed nice flame- retardant property and water and oil repellency as the introduction of fluorine element.
