Punching technology is applied extremely widespread. It has important status in the automobile cover processing. Research on preliminary prototypical development for automobile punching parts optical scanning quality inspection equipment, at the before research foundation, did the facility further studies. Specifically has following several aspects:Simulation research on the structure of punching parts quality inspection equipment has been done. The equipment is composed of five major parts: the main machine, the optical measurement system, the numerical control system, the software system and the auxiliary unit (dustproof, anti-vibration installment and so on). The key of equipment structural design is the main structure of machine. According to the on-line detection requests of punching parts and using three-coordinate measuring machine structural style for reference to carry on the design of the main structure of machine, structure plans have been obtained. The models were established by UG software and imported in ADAMS software. The hypothesized prototype was established. The main machine's structure was got through the movement simulation analysis.Preliminary design for device control system has been done. In this article the control system of equipment was conducted preliminary study. The control system function as well as the overall structure was analyzed, which is divided into three modules. And then the control strategies were described respectively. The standardized research and constructed the mathematical model which based on 3D alignment technology of reverse engineering of punching parts examination content have been done.
