Spontaneous combustion of sulphur ore deposit sulfide mining is in the process of major disasters. For a long time, people on the prevention and treatment of sulfide ores spontaneous combustion theory and technology in various aspects of the study, sulfide ores spontaneous combustion due to the complexity of the process, many of the problems has not been fundamentally resolved.In this paper, in a wide range of available literature and summarized previous research results on the basis of theoretical and experimental verification using combination of research methods. In the laboratory by the TG curves and DTG curves of each curve found in the metallurgical copper mine kind of critical temperature and combustion temperature on the sulphur content of the oxidation process ore significance of the seven characteristics of temperature, and analysis its causes. Analysis of experimental conditions on the size and heating rate on the thermal characteristics of temperature points and the influence of curves. TGA curves obtained characteristic temperature points and the variation of the final use of thermal dynamics method heavy mineral samples obtained in the different heating rates of different particle size of the activation energy.In this paper, the main contents and results are summarized as follows:Firstly, Mine different kind of heating rate curve indicates that the experimental results the TG curves moving to high temperature; use of thermal dynamics of the heavy mineral samples obtained in the way different heating rates and the activation energy, and found that with the increase of heating rate, the mine kind of activation energy is gradually increasing, decreasing tendency of spontaneous combustion, heating rate impact of sulphur ore is a tendency of spontaneous combustion characterization of the important factors.Secondly, Mine kind of a different size experimental curve results showed that the finer the particle size like mine, TG curves and the low-temperature DSC curve moving ore kind of ignition advance, calculated sulphur ore through the activation energy, the smaller the particle size found, activation also to the smaller value, the easier it is to fire, that is, increasing tendency of spontaneous combustion, particle size is an important factor.Thirdly, Thermal analysis techniques sulphur ore from TG and DTG curves, clearly see the sulphur ore from the air oxidation at room temperature began to be reached ignition point and burning sulphur ore at the end of the weight and speed of changes in oxygen in the entire process. On the different species of mineralizable S pool with a tendency of spontaneous combustion and the dynamics of the process of spontaneous combustion comparative studies, and discussed in detail the characteristics of temperature and sulphur oxide ores spontaneous combustion process and the relationship between the experimental conditions on the heat-temperature characteristics of the impact of the law, but the reference to the sulphur content ore in the process of spontaneous combustion of sulphur ore ignition temperature and the critical characteristics to fill the current TGA technology in the spontaneous combustion of sulphur ore in the application blank.
