It can improve the spleens'weight of rats under lower immune function, more than LW of the same concentration.Moreover, we proceed to a series of comparison and analysis by HPLC, the most principal components of LW metabolized by PSB had been changed, compared with LW before metabolized. Furthermore, we can find that the principal components which peak area is big came from Fructus corni and Cortex moutan metabolized by PSB according to spectral matching. We can also find that the peaks of LW metabolized by PSB are less than LW before metabolized. The reason may be that the components of LW had been transformed into many substances with small molecular weight after metabolized by PSB. So we need to analyze and identify the principal compounds in all of solutions by HPLC/MS, which shows the direction of the future study for us.The formula of Chinese traditional medicine, which is prepared by the fermentation of microorganisms, is so excellent that other formulas prepared by general methods can not compare with it. It can provide a new method for the study of drug development, the improvement of curative effect, reducing poisonous and side effect. It can also exploit a new investigative field for the development of Chinese traditional medicine. The study on the fermentation of Chinese traditional medicine, which has been provided with mature and realistic conditions, should be one of modern researches of Chinese traditional medicine in our country, thus it can make a better service for human beings.
