Research On Bodily Form Of Women Based On Photogrammetric Measurement

The consumption behaviors of women were increasingly changed following the development of the economy of China. The demand towards clothing, as an important part of daily life, has been transformed from popular style to that of individual and fitted. It is necessary to analysis the characters of bodily form of women to establish the apparel sizes and styles. It'll provide scientific references for the purchasing of clothing.In this paper, 407 young women and medium-elderly women in Liaoning area were selected as subjects. The measurements of bodily form were measured by using photogrammetric measurement as well as traditional manual ways. The results obtained by mentioned methods were compared to test the validity of photogrammetric measurement.Based on measured results, descriptives, One-Sample T Test, One-Way ANOVA, cluster analysis were done by using SPSS to obtain the characters of bodily form. The characters'differences between young women and medium-elderly women were analyzed. It will provide scientific references for the mend of apparel sizes and styles. The bodily form of women can be divided into three types denoted by A, B, C based on differences and ratio between chest girth and waist girth. In addition, the middle figure of each type was determined. Valid suggestions about the mend of apparel sizes and styles were provided in this paper.
