Synthesize And Research Anout Amphoteric Flocculant

As the development of society, the variety of pollutants in waste water is more and more complicated. But the amphoteric flocculant has advantage in disposing these pollutants. The copolymer of AM,DMDAAC,AA is a kind of water solution copolymer which has cationic and anion groups and the characteristic of cantionic and anion flocculant. The P(AM-DMDAAC-AA) synthesized has high water filtration and less water content. It can play flocculation effect in different PH environment ,so it received people's attention.In this paper, we adopted composite initiator of oxidizing, reducing agent, petroleum ether as continuous phase, composite emulsifier of span80-tween80- cetyltrimethylammonium chloride. Amphoteric flocculant poly(acrylamide-N,N-dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride -acrylic acid) (P(AM-DMDAAC-AA) have been synthesized by inverse emulsion polymerization, which has different conte-nt of cation and carboxyl. Effect of monomer proportion,hydrophile and lipophile balance(HLB),initiator dosage,initiator proportion,monomer concentration,volume proportion of oil and water,monomer enter proportion on copolymer P (AM-DMDAAC-AA) intrinsic viscosity and ionic degree. We use element analyse method to mensurate P(AM-DMDAAC-AA ) ionic degree, and study the its water solution .The result indicate ionic collective areas formed by interactional action of contrary charges influence the copolymer wanter solution. Copolymer synthesized can play flocculation effect in different pH environment and compared with import PAM. The result indicate this copolymer has good flocculant effect. In the last , the structure was confimed by IR.
