Carton Parts Combination Based On Method Of Assembling

After studying and analyzing the outstanding professional carton structural design software in domestic and international currently, we found that the vast majority of design softwares use the carton library automatically, mainly draw cartoon structure on the whole, and provide a conventional line, curve drawing tool for the design method in a free drawing module. In that the conventional design method is time-consuming and tedious, in this paper, I propose a new design method to achieve the structural design of carton, which is based on the method of piecing together.According to the characteristics of the carton's planar structure picture, split the carton's structure picture into different parts, creat different parts group for the carton piece respectively, make the carton parts spilt picutures as a basic component of the graphics unit to achieve the design of carton structure picture. When in drawing, use parameter technology to adjust and change the size of pictures of carton structure and carton parts. Use line as the final target when putting together them,to achieve carton parts assembly.In the design of method of piecing together, the carton parts are parts from the box out of the library, each carton part has direct preview effect, designers not only can be easily and quickly choose their own satisfied part, but also can amend the design parameters in needs of the demand. This method improve intuitiveness, flexibleness of the design, most importantly, improve the efficiency and accuracy of the design work.
