At present, Electrical Submersible Progressing Cavity Pump is widely used in oil extraction. Acquisition of Electrical Submersible Progressing Cavity Pump's running state parameters, the parameters'long-range transmission and analysis provide the basis of long-range various conditions analysis and fault diagnosis. The acquisition, transmission and analysis are very important to grasp opportune and accurate information of oil production and also beneficial to improving the efficiency of oil extraction.This thesis has researched on the detection of Electrical Submersible Progressing Cavity Pump's running state parameters and long-range data transmission based on GPRS network, data processing and data analyzing. The main tasks of the thesis are as follows:1. The plan of long-range transmission of Electrical Submersible Progressing Cavity Pump's running state parameters is realized: the mode is adopted that wireless module H7118 connects to GPRS and data reception center connects to Internet directly. The data format of communication in the system is instituted. The wireless long-range transmission of data has been realized using GPRS.2. The data acquisition module is designed, which has the kernel of 16-bit microcontroller 80C196KC and 6-Channel, simultaneous sampling analog-to-digital converter: ADS7864. The corresponding software is developed and the function of collecting voltage and current simultaneously has been realized.3. In data reception center, VB is adopted to program and implement the function of communication, data acquisition in the control of center, data storage, FFT analysis, parameters computing, curving, etc.Through the research in this thesis, in arbitrary locations that GPRS network covers, we can detect the electromotor parameters of Electrical Submersible Progressing Cavity Pump opportunely. Parameters can be transmitted to data reception center for processing and analysis. The system has characteristics of easy installation and long-range transmission, etc. With these characteristics, the detection of Electrical Submersible Progressing Cavity Pump's running state parameters and the data long-range transmission are very convenient.
