The Study Of The Capacity And Rolls Stability About Hot Stip Four-roll Rough Mill

The rolling mill is essential common equipment in the steel and iron and so on the metallurgy domain, it represents the technological level of iron and steel industry in a country. As important andpermanent parts of rolling mill, housing'security decides directly entire the rolling mill, even whole rolling assembly line. So it has important theoretic and practical meaning to the housing'security of intensity.This article used the finite element procedures of linear statics construction analysis to Jigang's 1700mm rolling mill'frame, the three dimensions finite element model of the housing is established by 10 joint points solid92, it was totally divided 13925 elements and 21844 joint points.After calculating this model, this article got the stress fieldand deformed situation that conformed to the actual. It offer the credible foundation to made the production process to ensure safety production in future.On the base of building a FEM numerical simulation model of the cross for mill,the cross was analyzed by using ANSYS,a famous FEM software.The distribution rule of stress in the cross was analyzed,and the most dangerous section of the cross was obtained.The crux to keep the stability of the roller system is to make an appropriate distance between the center lines of the working rollers and supporting rollers. In the paper, the loading condition of the roller system is analyised based on conventional theory and considering additional torque through analyzing force of the cross cardan shaft, and a critical excursion displacement formula is reduced. Integrating theory and experimentation, the facter which affects the excursion displacement is analyised. The most important facter is the press mete and friction coefficient of the supporting rollers' bearing.This article'study provides theoretic reference to make technological process, from the angle of housing'security, latent capacity of the rolling mill develops full is guided theoretically. In addition, it also provide reference value for the similar study and transformation of the other rolling mills.
