Design And Parameters Research Of 5 Rollers Strip Steel Straightener

As the development of rolling mill, more and more roll specifications nowadays, which made higher and higher requirement for straightener, so study on the medium and thin plate straightener's process parameters and design the straightener which straightening range wider have great theory meanings and engineering value.Based on straightener's theory study, and according to Pan Steel hot rolling plate plant design requirement, this thesis' research contents and fruits as follows:①the relevant assumptions and simplifications of straightening theory research were discussed, straightening's elastic-plastic bending theory was researched, which consists of basic relationship of elastic-plastic bending, bending moment, curvature and deflection of elastic—plastic bending, and utilizes the strghtening theory to optimize the design.②According materials elastic-plastic bending theory and straightener working principle, the relationship between straightener's structure parameters of roll diameter, roll pitch, roll numbers and energetics parameters, straightening quality was studied, at the same way, the relationship between process parameters of press quantity, straightening speed and straightening quality was researched, based on those, straightener's energetic parameters were ensured, and according to different thickness and material strip steel, straightener's process parameters were ensured, a 5-rollers straightener which straightening range wider was design.③Elastic-plastic bending finite element method was researched, steel plate's straightening elastic-plastic FE model was established, and its dynamic straightening process was numerical simulation, steel plate's stress and strain curves was achieved , elastic and plastic conditions were got, and its roughness also was gained.④The designed 5-rolls straightener has worked in Pan Steel, and the using results great well, this validate straightening theory method and design calculation.
