| WebGIS is one of the most important research fields in GIS.Since WebGIS comes forth, it has get great advancement,but there was little research in designing WebGIS by using cross platform teclmology,and there was ahnost no research in using WebGIS to manage ocean environment data in China.In this paper,the principles,characteristics,and implementation methodologies of WebGIS are discussed.Differences and trends among CORBA,DCOM/COM+,and EJB/J2EE are analyzed in detail,the concept,architecture and characteristic of distributed WebGIS based on J2EE is provided afterward which contains GIS client application,Web Server,GIS application server and spatial data server.Studies analyzed the theory of how to realize WebGIS,analyzed the problem of technique and structure in WebGIS,explored the method how to develop new WebGIS. Studies use J2EE technique truss which is advanced now,and use spatial database engine technique,established a WebGIS platform,and applied it into ocean water quality inspecting. In terms of the theory and technology,this paper is of great significance to the development of WebGIS application. |
