Quick response in the U.S. textile and apparel industry has been developed as a management strategy on supply chain. Quick Response system has been established widely among the retail, apparel, textile factories in the developed countries represented by the United States at present. The textile mills will be able to provide the necessary fabric in 12 hours after they received the instruction from the garment factory, and that will be 12 days in our country. Therefore, enhancing quick response capacity has become an important part to Chinese textile technicians to study hard.Textile technology is calculated manually in tradition. And there are a large number of parameters need to be found and consulted. Usually, the technology of weaving department is calculated on paper, and there are a lot of data and information to be searched, a large number of paper to be prepared, meanwhile, information on the paper are very difficult to be consulted, which requires a lot of space for data storing, that's is not conducive to search and low efficiency and time-consuming and the privacy is poor.In order to get over the shortcomings in the textile process calculation to achieve the rapid calculation of user-friendly storage, we will calculate the program on textile technology by the VB language, and storing datas by the database in the paper. This programe has the following advantages: calculating by computers on weaving process, classifying data by computers, modifying data by computers at any time. This will be high efficiency, small storage space, finding information quickly, data-amending immediately and easily. Visualization and simplification and rapidization will be come true.In order to provide a quick search and reference for textile technicians, storing weaving process parameters for common fabrics by database, and establishing a database on the weaving process are necessary.Finally, in order to verify the results, the data caculated by the programme will be compared with the data on 13×13 polyester / cotton fine cloth and 19.5×19.5 cotton fine cloth from Cotton Textile Factory Design in the paper.
