Study On Sizing Press Energetic Analyze And Structure Optimization Design

The oscillating flying shears an important device used for cutting off running strip steel on landscape orientation. Its main body applied with cutting mechanism, empty cutting mechanism, constant speed mechanism, knife adjusting mechanism, cleaning lateral clearance mechanism and drive mechanism. Its auxiliary device equips with pinch roll, straighten device and scrap collecting device. The final pruducts' quantity is mainly depending on the cutting precision of the flying shear. Because the oscillating flying shear's knives run as one parallel movement, it can get high cutting precision. So the oscillating flying shear is widely equipped in the continuous strip mill plant.This article mainly studies the modem design technique on oscillating flying shear by designing a flying shear for 1550 galvanization line at Tonghua Iron & Steel Corp. First of all, many modern algorithms is made use of to obtain the calculation-optimized theory and method on the mechanics parameters of the oscillating flying shears, establish the cut mechanics model of the oscillating flying shears and achieve the device criterion on the oscillating flying shears. Then we got a way for calculating the velocity of the flying shears throng kinematics analysis. At last we can get main mechanics parameters and the size of framework of the oscillating flying shear on the basis of mechanics and use 3D design software to build 3D model for the complete equipment. Furthermore, we optimize the structure of the running parts through finite element analysis and ADAMS motion simulation.We successfully design the exit-flying shear for Tonghua Iron & Steel Corp according to this way on 17^th Oct 2007. It is the first time that Erzhong successfully design and manufacture the flying shears by themselves. This will benefit to design different size of the oscillating flying shears and different type of the flying shears.
