The characteristics of juice wastewater, such as low pH, high COD, and high SS, would lead to various forms of organic acids accumulation in water bodies largely, and this would deteriorate the quality of water seriously. At present, the report on treatment technology of juice wastewater is relatively less in foreign, and and mature treatment process of juice wastewater haven't been reported in domestic.This issue based on the latest research results of juice wastewater treatment technology in domestic and foreign, and made the sludge in hydrolysis pond of Jingyang Yike as the inoculation sludge. The sludge, which was deal with by different ways, inoculated in the ABR and the biological contact oxidation reactor. From the experimental study of "ABR + biological contact oxidation " joint process to treat juice wastewater, attained the best operating parameters and provided the method of launching the reactors sucessfully. Experimental study showed that ABR's VFA and pH is the important parameters of the stable system.In high organic loading conditions, experiment cultured anaerobic granular sludge, which had better settling performance and biological activity. In the sludge, the largest particle size can up to 5 mm, and reduced followed with every room.The microbial populations in the ABR had significant population and good distribution along the way. The dominant microbes were clostridium, vibrio, brevibacterium in No.1 Room, long bacilli, streptococcus in No.2 Room, and cocci, spirillum, filamentous in No.3 Room respectively.Based on test data, derived the effluent dynamic model of ABR: First Compartment:The second Compartment:The third Compartment:Joint matrix degradation of the water ABR dynamic model: And Matching contact with the biological oxidation reaction kinetics of the matrix model: The results showed that using of "ABR + biological contact oxidation" joint process to treat juice wastewater, in the conditions of T=25~ 41℃, DO=0.0~0.1 mg/L, pH=6.5~7.5, HRT = 24h in ABR, and Nv = 2kgCOD / (m~3·d), HRT = 12h in biological contact oxidation, the system operated stably, and the effluent can reach the I-class criteria specified in Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard(GB 8978-1996). The study project provide the best line for the practical application of technology, which is broad prospects for development.
