Experiment Study On Methanol Gasoline Engine Oil

In order to better generalize methanol fuel, and solve lubrication problem arosed by burning gasoline methanol, so research object is modulation suitable engine oil for burning methanol gasoline. This paper focused on analyzing the influence to engine oil while burning methanol gasoline, and expounded the physical and chemical properties,application performance and its assessment of engine oil,Summed up the application performance and its assessment method of engine oil in the process of burning methanol gasoline, confirmed the additives variety and its dosage of modulation methanol gasoline engine oil.Because the methanol gasoline in the process of combustion easily generate formaldehyde, formic acid and other acids, and methanol gasoline and its combustion production can easily enter into engine crankcase together with engine oil.Methanol gasoline oil can make the viscosity index improver which is in the form of oil sludge aggrade from the engine oil, the acidic substances which generated in the process of combustion may aggravate the engine wear and accelerate the deterioration of the engine oil, counteract alkaline substances of engine oil, and in the rapid speed consumed engine oil alkaline reserve, such as detergent, dispersant. According to this feature, design the experiment about the effect of methanol gasoline to engine oil, which can provide reliable base for the follow-up modulation of methanol gasoline engine oil. The first step, putted amount of methanol fuel, a small amount of formic acid,formaldehyde into ordinary gasoline engine lubricating oil, simulated the engine oil that joined methanol and its combustion production, and the second step, doing crankcase simulation test with the prepared oil, simulated the situation of engine oil inside the crankshaft in the process of burning methanol fuel, at the same time do the crankcase simulation experiment of ordinary gasoline engine oil. The third step,mensurated various index with the oil which have done crankcase simulation test, the fourth step, analysesd the various index ,conducted frondose effect of methanol gasoline to engine oil in the process of burning methanol. From the front examination of impact on methanol gasoline to engine oil, analysed the specific require of methanol gasoline to engine oil. According to the request of methanol gasoline to engine oil, reference to amount of relevant literature chosed appropriate base oil, and reference to a lot of additives literature determined the initial additives used in methanol gasoline engine oil,further study on the sensitivity of base oil to various additives and the compatibility of each single additives,which is in the form of experiment.Then,according,to the result of experiment, fixed on various additives and its adding amount. Sum up the above test results designed entire formula by orthogonal design, through a mount of experiment study the overall sensitivity of base oil to additive, scheme, the pilot study through a lot of oil on the basis of the, to find the best formula scheme, in the stage of the date process, used the statistics comprehensive scientific analysis the date, and eventually developed engine oil which is adapt to burning methanol gasoline.
