| The purpose of this thesis is to take a systematic study of SE 15W/40 gasoline engine oil with neutral oil produced from Nanyang oil as the base stock. And concot the oil we need through adding appropriate addition agent, which realize the goal that Nanyang oil can produce the middle grade lubricating oil. The base stock of SE 15W/40 gasoline engine oil is composed of vacuum cut 2, refined oil and Dalian 500SN through searching the base oil produced from Nanyang fine chemical plant of wax and part of base oil bought from outside. Ethylene/propylene copolymer (OCP) as usual improver of viscosity index(VI) to make up multilevel gasoline engine oil, have the well thickening ability and anti-shear property. To find the best category of OCP, we mainly investigated the application performance of four different . TFOUT is taken as the main means to make sure the constitution and the dosage of oxidation and corrosion inhibitor, through comparing T202, T203 and some other secondary antioxidants. The driving test are used to evaluate the detergency, antifoam ability and inoxidizability of oil with stable service performances. The results of test prove that the performances of the oil can meet the specifications of SE 15W/40 gasoline engine oil.
