Open Cnc System Function Modules Research And Implementation

Current, with the rapid development of market globalization, the requirement of the market for the manufacture system which for low-volume manufacture, good flexibility and multifunction became more universal than the large-sized manufacture system which had simple function. Setting up open architecture control system is the consensus of Machinery Manufacturers, Open CNC system has become the inevitable trend of NC Technological Development. Open CNC system based on an open platform, to achieve openness, interchangeability, portability and scalability. It has a modular structure, according to allow users to the need for matching, integration and expansion or change the system, so quickly adapt to the different application requirements.This article elaborates the NC technology developing process, and introduces domestic and foreign open CNC system development of the status quo and development trends. The hardware and software configuration of CNC system based on PC + Motion Controller are build with analyzing the most popular open CNC architecture OSACA. And the article has analyzed system software's constitution. Modularization is the idea of the software project, such as Main interface module,parameter module,soft-PLC module,NC module,HMI module. These function modules with standard interfaces will work coordinately. It can deal with coding interpretation, interpolation, system management and servo control simultaneity. It has the function of general commercial CNC system. The function modules can be added or deleted if some adjustments want be done to the system, which shows the opening and flexibility of the system.The CNC system is used in the numerical renovation of Milling Machine in order to research the system. The experimental results verify the validity of research methods.
