After transformation of high speed wire workshop in WISCO, it increases reducing sizing mill following finishing mills. As a result, total deformation and pass deformation have been changed. In this paper, the controlled cooling of high speed wire in WISCO after transformation is studied. We can analyze the evolution rule of temperature-microstructure coupled field of high-speed wire during the controlled cooling process after rolling and establish the models of heat transfer and phase transformation by FEM software-Marc/Mentat and secondary development method to simulate temperature history and micro-structural evolution of high-speed wire during the controlled cooling process. It puts forward a theoretical and methodological basis for research on the phase transformation rule of carbon steel and alloyed steel and is of great importance for real manufacturers to establish appropriate production process and improve the comprehensive properties of products. The main works of this thesis are as follows:(1) With the investigated subject of high-carbon steel, the heat transfer models of high-speed wire during the water cooling line were made according to heat transfer characteristics of different segments and the Fourier rule. According to the actual production conditions, we can obtain initial conditions and heat transfer boundary conditions.(2) According to kinetics and thermodynamics of phase transformation results, we can establish the latent heat model of the air cooling line. Combining with Fourier rule, we can establish the heat transfer model of the air cooling line. So we can establish temperature-microstructure coupled filed.(3) Based on the math model of heat transfer and the FEM software Marc/Mentat redevelopment, We can simulate the temperature history during the controlled cooling line and evolution of microstructure on air cooling line .We can check the feasibility and accuracy of model by comparing simulated results and measured results; We can analyze temperature history of wire section to propose improvements of real manufacturers.
