The screw pump with its high efficiency, small footprint, convenient maintenance and low-noise is currently widely used in every oil field. The whipstocking stage of the sucker rod in Directional wells will bear drawing, pressing, bending and twisting of the combined effects. Influenced by such factors as the rod tube materials, hole deviation angle, shot composition and the control system, the phenomenon of the impact, disconnection or offside wear of the sucker rod is apt to happen, thus restraining the application of the technology of the screw lift in directional wells. On the other hand, constrained by the ground screw-driven equipment and downhole tubular structure, it is very difficult to perform the annulus test on the field in screw pump wells at present time , with the result that 30% in total of fixed-point monitoring wells can not be convered to screw pump production.Based on the theoretical studies on screw pumps in orientational wells, the main cause of the problem that the screw pump rod breaks or comes off the main pipe has been found and put forward. Applied supporting implements for directional drilling, such as the new guide, rod spacing, and position-limit hoop of metal have been tried out and improved. Meanwhile, the ptimization deploy scheme of the centralizer sucker rod and the sucker rod guide has been determined by adopting the transient finite element method, resolving the issue of the pole breaking or disconnection caused by combined effects of bending and torsion.In terms of the situation where the annulus test of screw pumps can not be performed in fixed-point pressure wells, a thorough analysis has been done on the main factors constrainting the annulus screw pump test, so that new oil extraction technology of the eccentric screw pump composed of the well-head screw eccentric, eccentric drive and tubing rotator , small-diameter screw, Fuzheng primers consisting of shoes has been developed. Finally, through analysing the problems that emerge from field test applications, the supporting tools for annulus testing have been improved and the KGLB500 and other annulus test issues in screw pump wells have all been solved.
