China has serious shortages of energy resources; we should not onlyuse resources in a rational way and conserve energy resources, but alsoimprove the efficiency of energy extraction. The oil is an important part of ourcountry’s energy resources, when we get the heavy oil which is difficult to exploit, weshould choose a suitable mechanical which is used for exploiting these high viscosityoil with sand containing. The single screw pump is a kind of internal meshing andhermetic screw pump. Its advantages are continuous uniform flow output, highefficiency and strong suction capacity. It is suitable for the transportation of highviscosity medium and the gas and liquid which contain sand. Moreover, the screwpump has advantages of small size, less installation area, easy installation, no noise,no pollution and low energy consumption, all of these are in keeping with the energyefficiency policy which is advocated by the national. Theory and practice show thatscrew pump has many advantages and it is widely used in chemical, food,energy and many other fields.We can get a correct surface of the screw and the profile shape of tool bydesigning parametric tool software, it’s the way to improve design efficiency of aformed disc milling cutter. This article ensure the working principle of eccentric screwpump firstly after the analysis research, determine their working key combination ofsurface and the cutting plane curves and movement principle of the screw, so as toestablish cross-section curve equation of screw, then, convert the contact line equationinto the tool coordinate system by using the coordinate transformation principleaccording to space meshing theory and the design of tool. Thereby equations of thescrew surface and the cutter blade profile shape of a formed milling cutter are derived,thus designing the cutter profile shape of a formed milling cutter can be finished.According to the deduced equation, we can use Matlab program to design aparametric tool software, we can get the curve and surface graphics of screw, thecutter blade profile shape and the cutter profile shape of milling cutter by inputting theparameters of the screw, it provides design basics of a formed disc milling cutterwhich is used to process the different screw. Using the Solidworks software to drawthe stereogram of a formed disc milling cutter according to thedesign guidance information of a formed disc milling cutter. Next, we can draw the three views and mark it, then, completing the design of the formed disc milling cutter.
