Research Of Five-axis Ceramics Engraving Machine On PC

In the ceramic industry,ceramic products with affordable,complex shape& fine carvings features have been more and more loved by the consumers, Therefore the design of low-cost,reliable performance of the five-axis ceramic engraving machine is increasingly clear.At present,open CNC system allows to better control the application of five-axis linkage because of the enhance of PC performance;In the processing procedures,PRO / E ,a CAD / CAM integrated software can automatically generate processing procedures.In view of this,five-axis NC machine tool used in the processing of the ceramic is been designed in the paper.It uses open-CNC system based on PC According to the G code into interpolation operator,the software Mach2 can produce pulse signals of each axis,then LPT parallel port on the PC output control signals to each axis stepper motor driver,the drive will make each axis controlled by stepper motor move to machine workpiece.The contents of the paper include these parts:Firstly,introduce a five-axis ceramic machine tool as well as the various components of the body and their relevant parameters.Secondly,open CNC System of five-axis ceramic engraving machine on the PC is designed, Including the appropriate hardware and software design.Thirdly, according to the particularity of this machine, as well as the characteristics of the control software Mach2,developed a dedicated post-processing procedures through the treatment module Pro / NC POST.Fourth, we discussed the processing algorithms of five-axis ceramic engraving machine,which has one swing axis and one rotation axis.Finally, The five-axis ceramic carving machine is proved feasible through the processing the workpiece of porcelain flower.
