This paper aims to develop a set of five axis CNC machine tools for woodworking engraving. Firstly, study the five axis machine tool overall international and domestic development status.Then, depth research of five-axis machine tool structure, combined with the need to finalize our actual use, design a swing plus and a rotating five-axis machine. Finally, We analyzed and compared the Open CNC Control System,determine to use of industrial PC +NC open control model.According to the five axis CNC system, using UG NX/Post Builder post processing software platform to create special post processing tools, apply it to the cutter location file generated by processing the NC code. In order to verify the feasibility of our matching machine tool structure with NC code, this paper on the machining simulation is carried out using VERICUT software. After the realization of dynamic simulation demonstration on machining process,we optimized the NC code.Firstly debug five axis linkage NC hardware by Googol GT-400 and GT-200 motion controller,the control card itself mode is not suitable for five axis linkage,error caused by accumulation resulted in poor linkage effect, after the use of GUC-800-TP motion controller to realize linkage. The kinematics equations of the machine tool and studies the problem of forward and inverse solution of machine tool. Using Visual C++6.0 programming in Windows XP, build a special thread for motion control regulation, man-machine interface of control system, use Measurement studio3D control to realize the simulation of the machining code. The final selection of paraffin as materials,used to validate the overall system.
