Lactoferrin has broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. LF is the inhibitory mechanism of direct "Iron deprivation" and indirectly "membrane permeability" of the combined effects of two mechanisms. At present, more than lactoferrin for food, cosmetics and feed additives. Microbial transglutaminase, also known as MTG enzyme, is an acyl transfer reaction catalyzed by the transferase. It can be catalyzed by protein cross-linking, protein and amino acid links. MTG and lactoferrin are all bio-type agents, the environment and do not harm the human body. therefore wish to take advantage of this article the characteristics of MTG will be fixed lactoferrin to wool, so that has antibacterial properties of wool fabrics in order to achieve environmentally friendly antibacterial finishing of wool.The processes of lactoferrin immobilized on wool fabric were studied in the paper and the optimal conditions of immobilization were obtained. On this basis, the article gave a research on antibacterial effect of the wool fabric by immobilized lactoferrin. Finally, SEM, breaking strength, shrinkage rate, pilling of observation and analysis of immobilized lactoferrin fabric performance before and after the change.The experimental results show that: lactoferrin immobilized through adsorption on wool fabrics, The main conditions were as follows: Lactoferrin 5mg/mL, immobilized adsorption time 2h, immobilized pH value of 7.0, temperature 40℃; Adsorption of enzyme added to the joint fixation of lactoferrin immobilized wool fabrics in the process conditions are as follows: Immobilized pH value of 7.0, lactoferrin 5mg/mL, immobilized adsorption time 2h, temperature 40℃, MTG enzyme dosage for the 30U / g fabric.The study found,Effect of Lactoferrin on the MIC for E. coli is 0.25mg/mL, on the MIC for Staphylococcus aureus is 0.5mg/mL. Immobilized lactoferrin of wool has good antimicrobial properties, Adsorption of enzyme increases joint immobilized lactoferrin of wool antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus was57.95%, antibacterial against E. coli was 69.96%. Adsorption of lactoferrin immobilized wool fabrics antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus was29.54 % , antibacterial against E. coli was 34.08 % . Joint Adsorption of enzyme immobilization increases the resistance of lactoferrin are obviously better than washing assay fixed.Fixed adsorption lactoferrin breaking strength of wool fabrics has not markedly improved, Adsorption of enzyme plus a fixed joint fixed law lactoferrin wool fabrics to improve the breaking strength of around 20N. Fixed adsorption lactoferrin felting wool fabrics decreased about 1% increase in enzyme adsorption fixed joint fixed law lactoferrin felting wool fabrics decreased 3%. Fixed two fixed methods of wool fabrics after pilling have been improved to some extent.
