Fixture is one of processing equipment of the most complex and the highest automatic level. Fixture design is highly depended on the experience, usually by adjusting the similar designed fixture that has been designed, rarely start from scratch.At present, in WTB, most of the structures of blade fixtures are stable, and there is a high similarity between different blades, so during fixture designing, you just need to modify the size or structure of the similar blade fixture using analogy, that can meet the requirements of design.However, modifying drawings of similar fixture in Auto CAD has the following issues:â‘ Low level of intelligenceAs the Auto CAD software does not support parametric design, it is difficult to integrate the successful design results with software to assist design, which makes the software to be at the low level of intelligence. Technology staffs need to modify the value of parameters based on their own experience, which greatly influenced the quality and efficiency of design.â‘¡dispersed characteristicAs the drawings of similar fixture is revised completed by manual one by one, not centralized. So that is so dispersed that it is easy to miss modified, and occur interference of some parts when fixture assembled, resulting in fixture scrapped.
